                Skyline Scotties

Welcome to our "Pooch Palace"

As you will see below, I have taken several pictures of our dogs personal 'house' and kennels. Please excuse the poor quality of the pictures, they were taken with a cell phone.
The primary use for these kennels when I first had them built was multifunctional. They were to keep in season females away from males, keep puppies away from adults, isolate new mothers, and keep new adolescent members away from current adults until they are more comfortable. Now-a-days most all of my adults get along and can spend most of thier time togther and have the freedom to go in and out of whichever kennels they want.
I'm equipped with enough room and cleaning supplies to keep everything sanitary for comfort of adults and puppies as well as protection of new litters. I keep a fan in the indoor kennel area to keep air circulating and keep odor down when puppies are potty training. I also keep a radio indoors that constantly plays to give all the dogs some 'background noise'.
All my dogs are provided with raised 'cots' or rugs for a comfotable sleeping area, and also have free choice of several chew toys and bones to avoid boredem. As you can see in the outdoor kennel, there is plenty of room for a scottie sized dog to run and stretch their legs. A very large sunflower plant also decided to grow smack dab in the middle of everything (that was unintentional), but i find it gives the dogs more shade, and also a sort of 'playground' weaving in and out of the thick stem system while chasing eachother.
